It’s spring in Miami Beach and there is no better way to enjoy the nightly breeze than with a bottle of wine, a picnic dinner and the sounds of the New World Symphony.
Take in some of the country’s most talented musicians for free at SoundScape Park on 17th Street and Washington Avenue. With cutting edge visual and audio technology, classical music performances are protected onto the New World Symphony’s 7000sq.ft. projection wall. Bring a blanket, snacks and beverages! Respect fellow WALLCAST spectators – please silence your phone and keep chatter to a minimum. On Thursday, May 20 at 8:00pm New World Symphony will team up with Miami City Ballet to present a Stravinsky and Balanchine performance. Check here for June’s upcoming events.
Soundscape Park’s Cinema Series is another option. Each Wednesday of the season, rain or shine, select movies are projected onto the wall at no cost to viewers. Below are May’s scheduled films. Keep up with Miami Beach Arts & Culture to stay abreast of June’s line up.
May 12: Roman Holiday (1953, NR)
May 19: Pavarotti (2019, PG-13)
May 26: Avengers: End Game (2019, PG-13)
